CHABLIS CÔTE AUX PRÊTRES
The plot takes its name from its proximity to an old pilgrimage route, leading from Vézelay to Compostela.
It is placed on a dome pulling towards the west. Its gentle slope exposed to a permanent moderate wind is composed of limestone scree dating from the Kimmeridgian and decomposed soils which release crystals and minerals.
The wines of the Côte aux Prêtres are distinguished by their salinity, maturity, and concentration.
