CHABLIS CLOS BÉRU MONOPOLE
This is the emblematic cuvée of Château de Béru.
It comes from a vineyard located 300 m above sea level, planted around the castle on an outcrop of pure Kimmeridgian limestone bedrock and surrounded by an enclosed wall several hundred years old.
It takes a long aging of 18 months in demi-muids, then a year in casks and 6 months in bottle to tame the crazy intensity of this powerful, mineral, and complex wine.
